Terminal Information

Bristol Airport is a one terminal facility. On arrival to the airport check the information screens for the correct check-in desk. Once you have checked in we recommend you go straight to security as most of the restaurants, bars and shops are after this point.

Whether you have checked-in online and are just dropping bags off or are checking-in at the airport you still need to allow plenty of time. Please ensure you give yourself adequate time to be processed through security.

Before entering the departure lounge all passengers must pass through security. You will be asked to produce your boarding card for inspection before being screened. All hand baggage will be passed through an X-ray scanner and should be kept to a minimum.

An automated gate system is in use in the Arrivals Hall at Bristol Airport for people with a new style ePassport. It uses facial recognition technology to allow passengers through the border without the need to see a Border Force Officer.

Airport Facilities

You will find a range of catering facilities at Bristol Airport to satisfy every appetite. These include: Burger King, Soho Coffee Co., Subway, Dexters and Bar Zero9.

You will find a range of shops at Bristol Airport to cater for your every holiday need. These include: Duty Free, WH Smith, Superdrug, Flying Visit and Foreign Exchange services.

Luggage trolleys at Bristol Airport are now available from vending machines at ten locations around the airport at a cost of £2 or €2, with credit card payment also accepted.

Passengers requiring special assistance should arrange this in advance with their airline. Individuals requesting assistance are reminded that they will still be required to pass through the standard check in and security processes.

Pick-up and Drop-off Points

For both pick up and drop off, Bristol Airport recommend using the 'Drop & Go' area, immediately outside the terminal.
